"I started my photography career as a freelance motorsports photographer in 1999, whilst studying for a BTEC National Diploma in Photography at the College of West Anglia, which I passed with a distinction.
During my time as a motorsport photographer I produced the official British Touring Car Championship calendar for 7 years. Each year varying the design to make it look as fresh as possible.
My biggest influences have been John Hansell, whom I had the privilege of working with for two years and Jakob Ebrey, who is one of the leading motorsport photographers in the country.
My style has also been influenced by Don McCullum with his editorial style black and white portraits and reportage photography, which I admire greatly. Upon losing my regular (non photography) job, I decided to dedicate myself to photography full time, and now work freelance in a studio enviroment."
